Window cleaning for houses and apartments
From the windows of an apartment in Ixelles to the large picture windows of a villa in Uccle, every type of glazing has its own challenges. Your window cleaner deals with each one in turn, not forgetting everything around it.
Windows and French windows
Glass cleaned on both sides, handles wiped, inside sills and window boards cleaned.
Sliding glass doors
Large panes cleaned streak-free, tracks vacuumed and cleared of dust and leaves.
Conservatories
Glass walls inside and out, uprights and base panels. The roof is only cleaned if it can be reached safely.
Bay and oriel windows
The glazed bays so typical of Brussels façades, with their small panes, angles and nooks.
Frames and surrounds
PVC, wooden or aluminium frames washed, seals and corners cleared of built-up dirt.
Indoor blinds
Venetian, pleated or roller blinds dusted and cleaned according to their material.

High-level windows: what we take care of
Inward-opening windows, very common in Brussels, can be cleaned on both sides from inside the room, whatever the floor.
For fixed panes or windows that don’t open, we work from the ground, from a balcony or with suitable equipment.
Beyond that, or when a cherry picker or rope access technicians are needed (façade, glazed stairwell, high glass roof), we call in a properly equipped specialist partner, subject to a quote. We tell you this upfront, in our quote.
How often should you have your windows cleaned?
For most homes, two to four visits a year are enough: in spring, after the pollen season, then before winter.
A house on a busy road, under trees or with a large conservatory gets dirty faster: a visit every two or three months keeps the windows clear all year round. Houses on the edge of the forest in Sint-Genesius-Rode or houses with a conservatory in Braine-l’Alleud fall into this category. We suggest a schedule; you decide.

How is your window cleaning quote prepared?
The quote is based on your home:
- the number of windows, French windows and picture windows;
- special glazing: conservatory, bay windows, small panes, roof windows;
- the floor and which way the windows open;
- extras: indoor blinds, sliding door tracks;
- frequency: a one-off visit or several a year.
Add a few photos to the form: they are usually enough for us to price the job. You receive a free, no-obligation quote within 24 working hours.
How window cleaning works in your home
Protection and access
We protect the floor below the windows and, with your agreement, clear access to the glass: plants, ornaments, small furniture.
Glass, frames and sills
The glass is cleaned on both sides, followed by the frames, tracks and sills, for a crisp finish with no streaks or drips.
Checked against the light
Every pane is checked against the light before we leave. If you are at home, we go round with you and touch up anything that needs it there and then.
What we don't do
- Windows that need a cherry picker or rope access: handled by a properly equipped specialist partner, subject to a quote.
- Building residue (paint, cement, silicone) on new windows: this comes under post-renovation cleaning.
- Cleaning façades, gutters, roofs, solar panels and terraces.
- Washing curtains and net curtains.
Window cleaning and house cleaning: the difference
House cleaning looks after the inside of your home. Window cleaning covers what it does not: the outside of the windows, conservatories, sliding glass doors, frames and tracks. You can plan two to four full window cleans a year, with no long-term commitment.
Frequently asked questions about window cleaning
Do I need to be at home while the windows are cleaned?
Yes, or someone you trust: to clean the inside and open the windows, we need access to your home. For outside windows only (ground floor, conservatory), access to the garden may be enough.
What if it rains on the day?
Light rain doesn’t stop us cleaning the inside. In heavy rain, frost or high winds, we postpone the outside windows and quickly offer you a new date.
Are frames and sills included?
Yes: frames, surrounds, tracks and inside sills are part of the service, as are any outside sills that can be reached.
Do you clean roof windows and outdoor blinds?
Yes, if they are pivoting roof windows that can be reached from inside. For outdoor screen blinds and shutters, it all depends on access: we assess them when we prepare the quote.
What products do you use?
Products suited to glass and to each type of frame, applied with a squeegee and microfibre cloths. We bring all the equipment needed.
Do you also clean shop and office windows?
Yes, with a dedicated service for businesses: shopfronts, glass partitions and regular visits. See our commercial window cleaning page.
Do I have to commit to several cleans?
No. You can ask for a one-off clean or regular visits, with no long-term commitment. You remain free to change the schedule or to stop.
Do you clean the windows before a move-out inspection?
Yes. If it is just the windows, this service is all you need. If the whole home needs cleaning, choose our end of tenancy cleaning instead: the windows are included, where access allows.
