After-builders cleaning in your home
The tradespeople have packed up their tools, but plaster and sanding dust has crept in everywhere: inside cupboards, on skirting boards, in window tracks and even into the sockets. A quick pass with a household vacuum cleaner just stirs it back up into the air. That is as true of a new apartment in Jette as of an old house in Saint-Gilles, where it settles even in the mouldings.

Walls, skirting boards, doors, radiators, sockets, switches and accessible light fittings dusted; the inside of wardrobes and drawers vacuumed, then wiped.
Marks left by the work
Paint splashes and traces of plaster, glue and silicone removed from floors, windows, frames and bathroom fittings, using a method suited to each surface.
New kitchen
Protective film and labels removed; unit fronts, worktops and the inside of cupboards and appliances cleaned before first use.
Bathroom and toilet
Grout and silicone residue, limescale film and dust removed from tiles, taps and shower screens.
Windows and frames
Stickers and film removed, glass cleaned on both sides, tracks and thresholds cleared of grit and dust.

When should you book post-renovation cleaning?
Ideally right after the last tradesperson leaves, and before you bring your furniture back or move in: an empty room can be cleaned more thoroughly and more quickly.
For a major renovation, we can plan two visits: a first rough clean at the end of the structural work, then a finishing clean once the painters have left.

We get everything clean again
The team arrives with its own equipment and products. At the end, we walk round your home with you. Once you have settled in, you can switch to regular house cleaning, with the same cleaner every visit.
What the deep clean does not include
- Removing rubble, plaster bags and building waste: these must be cleared before we arrive, by your contractor or using a skip.
- Touching up paint, grout or silicone: we clean, we don't repair.
- Old stains, or stains ingrained in porous or damaged materials: if we spot them, we tell you honestly in the quote what can be achieved.
- Windows that need a cherry picker or rope access: through a properly equipped specialist partner, subject to a quote.
Frequently asked questions about post-renovation cleaning
Do you remove rubble and building waste?
No. We remove dust, minor residue and light protective coverings (film, adhesive tape), but not rubble or bulky waste: these must be cleared before we arrive.
Can you clean while the builders are still there?
We don’t recommend it: the dust settles again straight away. We come in once the last trade has finished, or in two visits for a large project.
Do you remove paint marks from parquet floors or windows?
Yes, on most surfaces, with the right method: a blade scraper for glass, gentle products for wood. On delicate materials, we test on an inconspicuous area first.
How much time should I allow?
It depends on the floor area and the work carried out: a freshly painted apartment doesn’t take as long as a fully renovated house. The quote states the expected duration and the number of cleaners.
